Responsibilties include:
- Lead the accounting evaluation of complex transactions.
- Develop, maintain, and communicate global accounting policies, technical guidance, etc.
- Monitor emerging accounting guidance and industry developments, assess business impacts, and lead implementation of new accounting standards.
- Drive process improvements
- Support the review technical accounting matters, SEC reporting, and financial statement disclosures, including Forms 10-Q, 10-K, and quarterly earnings releases.
- Lead special projects.
Building blocks for success
Required:
- 8+ years of public accounting and/or technical accounting experience.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential.
- Demonstrated expertise applying U.S. GAAP to complex transactions.
- Ability to independently manage competing priorities, exercise sound judgment, and operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, or equivalent experience.
- Experience within a global, multi-entity public company.
- Experience with ASC 810 (Consolidation), ASC 842 (Lease Accounting), ASC 805 (Business Combinations), and complex real estate transactions.
- Experience developing accounting policies, technical guidance, or organizational training programs.
