Position: West Coast Business Development Manager
Location: Remote (Washington OR Oregon based)
Compensation: $90-$100K base salary + uncapped commission (on both new wins and account growth)
Relocation: No

Experience: 2 to 5 years in business development within the food and beverage industry (ingredients or flavoring preferred, not required)
Travel: MUST be okay with 50% regional travel

Overview:
A growing and innovative ingredient company in the food and beverage space is seeking a driven sales professional to generate new business across the West Coast. This is a highly visible role focused on building pipeline, opening new accounts, and expanding relationships within food and beverage manufacturers, co packers, and R and D teams.

Experience/Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree: Business, Procurement, Food Science or related business field (preferred)
  • Own new business development across the West Coast territory with a strong hunter mentality
  • Run a full cycle sales process from cold outreach through close, including executive level presentations
  • 3 plus years of sales experience within the food and beverage industry
  • Preferred Experience: Selling into B2B environments such as manufacturers, co packers, or RND teams – open to retail experience
  • Build and expand relationships with key decision makers across target accounts
  • Execute against a clear sales strategy to drive revenue growth and regional expansion
  • Generate pipeline through trade shows, industry events, and direct outreach
  • Position solutions by leveraging insights on industry trends, innovation, and customer needs
  • Stay ahead of market dynamics and competitive activity to win new opportunities
  • Grow existing accounts while consistently adding new business
  • Earning commission on both new wins and account growth
