Title: VP of Operations
Location: Houston, TX or Highlands Ranch, CO
Travel: ~50%
Role Summary: The VP of Operations will lead all operational activities across a national network of jet fuel terminals, airport infrastructure, and PHMSA-regulated pipeline systems.
This leader must bring deep operational rigor, pipeline & liquid terminal expertise, and a hands-on leadership approach. They will also be a strategic partner to the COO in scaling the business, supporting growth initiatives, operational modernization, and future acquisitions. Aviation terminal and/or midstream pipeline leadership required.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead nationwide terminal & pipeline operations (multi-state asset base)
- Ensure world-class safety, regulatory compliance, and PHMSA/DOT/OSHA adherence
- Drive operational performance, cost-efficiency, uptime, and reliability
- Build structure, accountability, and succession planning across operations org
- Support M&A growth, operational diligence, post-acquisition integration
- Modernize operations: automation, SCADA, control room enhancements
- Represent Operations with customers, airport authorities, JV partners, regulators
- Manage large-scale OPEX + CAPEX budgets
