Vice President of Sales – Retail Location: Remote | 25–50% Travel Required

We are partnering with a growing food brand to identify a high-performing National Sales Manager to lead retail channel expansion across major grocery and big box accounts.

About the Role

This individual will own the implementation and execution of retail sales programs for National Accounts, with a heavy focus on accounts such as Target, Publix, Walmart, Wegmans, and Kroger. The role is central to expanding the brand’s presence in retail outlets and will require strong broker relationship management — success in this position will be heavily driven by those partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales strategy and execution across major National Grocery and Big Box retailers
  • Build and leverage relationships with customers, vendors, and broker partners
  • Develop and refine sales goals, plans, and strategies for existing and new products
  • Leverage SPINS, IRI, or Nielsen data to build compelling retailer presentations and support ongoing forecasting, opportunity identification, and competitive analysis
  • Support the launch and scaling of consumer packaged retail brands
  • Understand retailer margin calculations and pricing structures

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 5–10+ years of sales experience with National Grocery and/or Big Box Retailers
  • Established relationships with at least one major national retailer
  • Multi-category experience across Meats, Prepared Meals, and/or Fresh Food items
  • Proven track record launching and selling CPG retail brands

Compensation

  • Base Salary: $150,000–$170,000
  • Incentive package available; details determined at offer stage
