Traveling Superintendent – Mission Critical

The Superintendent oversees on-site project management from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in data center projects and be open to travel.

Candidates should excel at multitasking, managing time efficiently, and performing well under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, all while maintaining a team-oriented approach. This is a full-time position offering excellent benefits. References and a project list are required for all applicants.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to pre-construction scheduling, logistics, and planning.
  • Develop project schedules and weekly look-ahead plans.
  • Collaborate with the project management team on budgeting.
  • Oversee multiple projects or large, complex projects.
  • Manage and coordinate field teams, including subcontractors and owner vendors.
  • Ensure alignment between plans and specifications with architects and engineers.
  • Uphold and promote a safety culture in compliance with OSHA standards.
  • Foster teamwork and maintain open communication on the project site.
  • Identify and resolve on-site challenges and issues.
  • Mentor and train field staff, supporting talent growth and development.
  • Participate in interviews with potential clients.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience managing life sciences, lab, or clean room projects.
  • Proven ability to manage all aspects of field operations, including scheduling, quality control, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Dependable and adaptable, with a strong work ethic and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
  • Strong background in construction trades and technical expertise.
  • Proficient in scheduling software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple tasks.
