Senior Electrical Designer
Location:
- Overland Park, KS
- Phoenix, AZ

This individual will be responsible for the engineering and design solar photovoltaic (PV) systems and/or energy storage systems.
- System Layout and optimization
- Determining power generation and interconnection requirements
- Perform AC/DC system sizing calculations
- Manage the electrical engineering of commercial and utility scale solar and/or energy storage projects
- Manage and support the engineering staff performing electrical calculations and studies
Requirements:
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 4 years’ experience designing solar energy PV projects (utility scale)
- Familiarity with medium and low voltage electrical systems and components
- Experience and knowledge of overall design and construction of utility scale PV and/or wind plants
- Working knowledge of the NEC and NESC
- Knowledge and proficiency in the use of an electrical power system modeling program(s) (AutoCAD, ETAP)
