Project Manager

Position Overview: Project Manager will participate in all aspects of intrastate pipeline projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget. This role requires a deep understanding of Nationwide Permit 12 (NWP 12) as it pertains to intrastate pipelines and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of environmental, health, and safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Leadership: Involved in oversight for a portfolio of intrastate pipeline projects from planning and concept design through construction and project closeout.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with NWP 12 requirements, including the preparation and submission of Pre-Construction Notifications (PCNs) when necessary.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams, regulatory agencies, and external partners to ensure project alignment with environmental, health, and safety standards.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks, including environmental impacts, and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
- Budget and Schedule Management: Oversee project budgets and schedules, ensuring efficient resource allocation and timely project delivery.
- Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project managers and support staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Project Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the energy infrastructure sector, with a focus on intrastate pipeline projects.
- Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of NWP 12 and its application to intrastate pipeline projects.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on innovative and efficient solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional Project Management (PMP) certification.
- Experience with environmental permitting processes and compliance.
- Familiarity with the latest industry technologies and best practices in pipeline construction and management.
