Project Engineer, P.E.

This is a mid-level, electrical engineer in the renewable energy space with their P.E. certification that knows their way around utility scale solar or power projects from a design engineering perspective. This will be running utility scale solar and storage projects from cradle-to-grave, running the client interactions and leading the design conversations with the design teams they have in place, coordinating with other engineering partners, and leading the internal team and QA/QC coordination.
Requirements:
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering
- Professional Engineering (P.E.) certification required
- 2-4 years’ experience as a PE
- Minimum of 2 years’ relevant working experience designing power projects; preferably utility scale solar
- Familiarity with medium and low voltage electrical systems and components
- Experience with design of PV projects (utility scale) preferred
- Experience and knowledge of overall design and construction of utility scale PV and/or wind plants
- Working knowledge of the NEC and NESC
- Knowledge and proficiency in the use of an electrical power system modeling program(s) (AutoCAD, ETAP)
