Principal Product Engineer
This role sits between engineering and manufacturing. You will work closely with the production team, helping solve issues on the floor while improving designs so they are easier to build and more consistent.
What you will do
- Support daily production by working with line leads to resolve design issues and keep things moving.
- Turn real world build challenges into better designs, standards, and processes.
- Help develop templates, fixtures, and more efficient ways to assemble products.
- Guide junior engineers and support continuous improvement efforts.
What they are looking for
- Someone who enjoys being hands on and close to the work, not just behind a desk.
- Several years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a degree in engineering.
- Strong problem solving skills and the ability to work independently and with a team.
- Experience with tools like Revit, Navisworks, or Bluebeam is helpful. Exposure to electrical or power systems is a plus.
Additional details
- Expect a mix of time on the floor and at a desk.
- There is a rotating schedule with one week per month on a later shift.
