Power Markets Analyst
Location: Boulder, CO or NYC
Company: Our client operates two closely related businesses in the power markets space:
- A quantitative power-focused hedge fund
- A power systems / grid analytics & consulting startup
Primary responsibilities:
(1) oversight of live automated trading systems;
(2) assisting in the analysis of signals under the instruction of traders; and
(3) assisting traders in the development of discretionary and automated trading strategies.
Requirements:
- 1+ years working in power markets (virtuals, FTRs, OTC).
- Intimately familiar with data sources, market rules, pricing dynamics in one or more ISOs.
- Experience working closely with portfolio managers
