Payroll Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise, direct and train payroll personnel
  • Maintain and update employee payroll files for personnel changes, direct deposits, and benefit deductions
  • Prepare and review federal and state payroll tax returns
  • Manager expense reports
  • Assist with questions regarding payroll
  • Prepare, process and review payroll checks, terminations final paychecks, etc.
  • Prepare and review payroll liability account reconciliations.
  • Coordinate external and internal audit requests.
  • Prepare special reports and projects, as required.
  • Adhere to and demonstrate compliance.
  • Perform various general accounting functions as requested.

REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting.
  • Six years of experience in payroll function required.
  • Familiarity with Oracle payroll software.
  • Supervisory experience
