Payroll Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise, direct and train payroll personnel
- Maintain and update employee payroll files for personnel changes, direct deposits, and benefit deductions
- Prepare and review federal and state payroll tax returns
- Manager expense reports
- Assist with questions regarding payroll
- Prepare, process and review payroll checks, terminations final paychecks, etc.
- Prepare and review payroll liability account reconciliations.
- Coordinate external and internal audit requests.
- Prepare special reports and projects, as required.
- Adhere to and demonstrate compliance.
- Perform various general accounting functions as requested.
REQUIRED JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Business, Finance or Accounting.
- Six years of experience in payroll function required.
- Familiarity with Oracle payroll software.
