Job Description
- Lead month-end financial close
- Support accounting and forecasting needs working closely with internal departments/stakeholders, including Sales, Merchandising, and Operations
- Ensure contract maintenance, interpretation and contract reviews are being maintained timely
- Ensure accurate reporting and timely resolution of both customer rebates and supplier rebates
- Drive continuous process improvements
- Implement, maintain, and enhance SOX controls and best practices
- Manage team to include staffing, training, coaching, performance management, problem resolution, etc.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years accounting/finance experience
- 3-5 years of experience managing Accounting/Finance Staff
- Strong understanding of GAAP, particularly revenue recognition
- Strong communication, independent problem solving, and analytical skills
- Advanced user of Microsoft Excel including working with large, complex data sets
