Interconnection, Manager
Location: Remote (within northeast)
This person will be responsible for transmission assessment, market analysis and interconnection queue management. They will provide leadership for transmission related topics and participate in market analysis, congestion, curtailment and basis analysis. They will be responsible for transmission interconnection process related external communications with ISOs, utilities and consultants to support new project development.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3-5 years’ experience in a transmission/interconnection position within the energy space
- Interconnection experience working on transmission analysis
- Proficient knowledge analyzing impact studies for PJM
- Experience with electric energy industry, power flow (PSSE/MUST) modeling, transmission panning, interconnection studies
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, power flow, and SCED analysis tools
