Legal and Regulatory Affairs Manager
Location: Boulder, CO or NYC
Company: Our client operates two closely related businesses in the power markets space:
- A quantitative power-focused hedge fund
- A power systems / grid analytics & consulting startup
Primary responsibilities:
(1) Staying abreast of regulatory and compliance developments which affect the interests of the company;
(2) Working closely with the sales and product teams to ensure services are compliant;
(3) Serving as the primary touchpoint with all the relevant regulatory entities; and
(4) Advocating for the interests of the company in relevant proceedings and hearings.
Requirements:
- 5+ years working in the power regulation space.
- Intimately familiar with regulations and compliance across most (if not all) U.S. ISOs with a particular premium placed on ERCOT, MISO, and PJM
