Junior Power Trader
Location: Boulder, CO or NYC
Company: Our client operates two closely related businesses in the power markets space:
- A quantitative power-focused hedge fund
- A power systems / grid analytics & consulting startup
Primary responsibilities:
(1) oversight of live automated trading systems and
(2) origination and execution of novel alphas
Requirements:
- 2+ years working in power markets (virtuals, FTRs, OTC).
- Intimately familiar with data sources, market rules, pricing dynamics in at least one or more ISOs.
- Previously work experience directly under portfolio manager with responsibility for origination and assumption of risk.
