IEC Specialist
Location: New town, ND
This is an IEC Specialist position supporting the gathering system. This person will be overseeing the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical and automation wiring and hardware for well sites, facilities, and pipelines.
Requirements:
1. Strong working knowledge of fluid properties and dangers inherent with crude oil.
2. Strong working knowledge of A.C. and D.C. fundamentals, competent in bending conduit, installing cable tray, terminating circuits. Familiar with N.F.P.A 70 National
Electric Code.
3. Familiarity with area classifications with regards to hydrocarbon environments and able to recognize if material and instruments meet area classifications requirements.
4. Familiar with centrifugal, and positive displacement pumps, LACT units, level and pressure transmitters, PLC and SCADA
5. General knowledge of Automation, Electrical, Programmable Logic Controller and Controls Artificial Lift.
