Financial Analyst
Location: Boulder, CO or Remote within United States
Renewable Energy Financial Analyst will provide project analysis, financial modeling, and transaction support for a wide range of solar, storage, and microgrid projects being developed. This person will have an impact on delivery of distributed energy projects, which include solar, storage, EV charging, and microgrids, and expand exposure in renewable energy project finance, tax equity, acquisitions, private placements of debt and equity, transacted/merchant power, and portfolio optimization.
- Perform project financial valuation and provide feedback to our project development team
- Assist in project development, project and portfolio acquisitions, and deal structuring
- Collaborate with internal and external teams
- Provide project optimization analysis to development and design teams comparing different project designs
- Conduct market research and provide information for project financial valuations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related academic field
- 1+ years of experience in renewable energy (solar preferred) or a related field
- Experience preparing and presenting complex project finance models, specifically for renewable energy project development
- Experience talking to banks and dealing with data rooms, and understanding of how term sheets applies to projects
