My client is looking for a Electrical/Magnetics Engineer to join our flight program team that is rapidly growing. In this role, you will support the design, development, assembly, and testing of electrical assemblies and systems for our satellite builds, with a specialized focus on magnetic cleanliness and control.
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in electrical engineering, aerospace engineering, or similar field
- 3-5+ years of core electrical engineering discipline experience in aerospace or related fields, with heavy emphasis on hands-on spacecraft hardware testing and assembly
- Act as the subject matter expert for magnetic control plans, including modeling magnetic dipoles and ensuring magnetic cleanliness for sensitive payloads
- Lead EMI/EMC and Magnetics control plans
- Expertise in magnetics, including experience with magnetometers, magnetic field modeling, and harness shielding design
- Experience with PCB debugging, using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and manual soldering/rework tools
