Development Engineer (Electrical)
Location: The Woodlands, TX
The Role: Responsible for technical oversight of new utility scale renewable energy, battery storage, and cryptocurrency mining projects from site identification through start of construction. Manage technical aspects of projects including interconnection filings, equipment selection, siting, and energy system optimization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred; Masters or MBA preferred.
- Strong electrical background preferred.
- 2-5 years’ experience in power/energy with 3+ years of renewable energy/storage experience preferred.
- Familiarity/experience with cryptocurrency is also preferred
- Successful completion of utility scale wind, solar, and storage projects from site identification through NTP.
- 2-5 years’ experience in an electrical project development engineering position
