Corporate Development Manager – Distributed Power / Energy Infrastructure
Location: Houston, TX
The Role: The Corporate Development Manager will support the continued growth of this business. This role sits at the intersection of corporate development, commercial strategy, and financial analysis, and will focus on evaluating opportunities, structuring deals, and supporting customer engagements from a financial and strategic perspective.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain financial models to evaluate new projects, commercial opportunities, and strategic initiatives
- Support commercial and business development teams by translating financial analysis into deal structure and pricing strategy
- Analyze customer opportunities across distributed generation, data center power, oil & gas, and industrial markets
- Assist with structuring commercial agreements, partnerships, and long-term service arrangements
- Support corporate development initiatives including acquisitions, joint ventures, and new market entry
- Work cross-functionally with commercial, finance, operations, and executive leadership
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, strategic finance, commercial finance, or similar analytical role
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills
- Experience supporting transactions, project development, or commercial deal structuring
- Background in energy, power generation, infrastructure, oil & gas, industrial, or data center sectors preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to interface with both technical and commercial teams
