Role & Responsibilities
We are seeking a high-energy, execution-focused Business Development professional to drive growth across AI/HPC data centers, microgrids, and energy markets.
This is a hands-on, hunting role in a fast-moving startup environment. The right person will be actively building pipeline, getting in front of customers, and driving deals forward—not sitting back managing accounts.
You will play a key role in helping customers deploy on-site power and microgrid solutions, while operating in an environment that requires urgency, adaptability, and strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities
• Proactively identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities (hunter mentality required)
• Build and manage a consistent pipeline through outbound activity, travel, and in-person meetings
• Own the full sales cycle from prospecting, proposal, negotiation and close with executive team support
• Develop strong relationships with end users, data center developers, hyperscalers, and decision-makers across multiple markets
• Work closely with internal teams to deliver clean, accurate, and high-quality commercial proposals
• Operate with a high level of attention to detail across all customer-facing materials
• Thrive in a startup environment with limited structure and shifting priorities
Requirements
• 5–12+ years of business development / sales experience
• Proven track record in hunting, pipeline generation, and closing deals
• Experience in one or more of the following:
• Power generation / distributed energy / microgrids
• Oil & Gas services or industrial sales
• Data centers or mission-critical infrastructure (nice to have, not required)
• Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast-paced, startup or high-growth environment
• Strong attention to detail in proposals, contracts, and customer communications
• Willingness to travel, meet customers, and be in-market regularly
